I hold a Ph.D. in the humanities and bring a wealth of knowledge about the psychology of teaching to my work with dogs and their human companions. I am a Karen Pryor CertifiedTraining Partner (KPCTP) with certification from the Karen Pryor Academy for Animal Training and Behavior. I have also participated in many continuing education activities, including a semester long Harvard University course on "The Learned Dog" (2007) as well as graduate level courses in applied behavior analysis and animal behavior.
